The kitchen screen shows the orders sent from the tables, in large type and without a single price. The bar has its own, for drinks. A tablet is all you need: it pairs exactly like a till.

1Choose what goes to each screen
These screens belong to table service: it must be switched on, and only orders sent from a table reach them. In Catalogue › Categories, give each category its Preparation: Kitchen screen for meals, Bar screen for hot and cold drinks, None — served straight away for anything that is not prepared.
2Get a pairing code
In the back office, open Devices, click Add, name the tablet (Kitchen, Bar) and click Create. An 8-digit code appears, valid for 15 minutes, along with the address to open for the kitchen and the one for the bar. The page's How it works button shows these addresses again at any time.
Only the Owner adds a device, unless they have given someone else that permission.

3Pair the tablet and say what it is for
On the tablet, open the kitchen address (it ends in /cuisine) or the bar address (/bar). The Pair this till screen appears: type the 8 digits, then answer What is this device for? by tapping Kitchen or Bar. Finish with Pair. It is done once and for all: bookmark the address.

Important — A device set to Bar does not show the kitchen, and the other way round; a till device refuses both. To change its role without pairing again: Devices, Role button. A tablet paired before this question existed shows Role not set: it opens every screen.
4Follow the orders
The screen updates on its own and beeps when an order arrives. In the To prepare column, each order shows the table, the waiting time, the products with their size and options, and who sent it. An order that waits turns orange, then red.
Tap Ready when the dish is on the pass: the till shows Ready in the kitchen on the table. In the Ready column, Served clears the order, and Back sends it back to preparation after a mistake. The delays, the beep and this column are set under Settings › Till, in Kitchen and bar screens.
Tip — Nobody watching the screen? Turn on Keep ringing until "Seen" in the same place: each new order gets a Seen button, and the screen rings every three seconds until someone touches it — or touches Ready. Off, as it comes: one beep per order.

5Remove a dish or flag something sold out
These screens never ask for a PIN: hands are full, and the screen is on the wall. The device itself, paired and set to its role, is what allows it.
- Tap the cross next to a dish, pick the reason, then Cancel the dish. The dish comes off the customer's bill. Also take it off the menu, ticked in advance when something has run out, stops it being sold as well.
- Menu opens What is no longer available: tap what has run out. Nothing comes back on its own; while a product is crossed out, the button shows how many there are.
Every removal stays on record under Sales, Voids tab, signed with the device's name.

Tip — A printer in the kitchen is added from this screen, with the Printers button; each order then gets a Print docket button. After every Z closing, the screen starts again empty.
